For Windows Users:
Recording Audio Only (Using Sound Recorder)
- Open Sound Recorder:
- Click on the Start Menu (Windows icon at the bottom left).
- Type "Sound Recorder" and open the app.
- Start Recording:
- Click the red record button to start capturing your voice.
- Stop and Save:
- Click the stop button when you’re done.
- It will automatically save your recording in the Music > Sound Recordings folder.
- Play and Review:
- Open the saved file to ensure the quality is good.
Recording Video with Sound (Using Camera App)
- Open the Camera App:
- Click on the Start Menu, type "Camera", and open it.
- Switch to Video Mode:
- If it opens in photo mode, look for the video camera icon and click it.
- Start Recording:
- Click the record button (red circle) to begin.
- Stop and Save:
- Click the stop button to finish.
- The video will be saved in the Pictures > Camera Roll folder.
- Review Your Video:
- Open the file and check for clarity.
For Apple Users (Mac or iPhone/iPad):
Recording Audio Only (Using Voice Memos on iPhone/Mac)
- Open Voice Memos App:
- On iPhone, swipe down and search for "Voice Memos" in the search bar.
- On Mac, open Launchpad > Voice Memos.
- Start Recording:
- Tap the red record button to begin.
- Stop and Save:
- Tap the stop button and rename the file if needed.
- The recording will save automatically.
- Review:
- Play the file to check the audio quality.
Recording Video with Sound (Using Photo Booth on Mac)
- Open Photo Booth:
- Click on Launchpad and open Photo Booth.
- Switch to Video Mode:
- Click the video camera icon at the bottom left.
- Start Recording:
- Click the red record button to begin.
- Stop and Save:
- Click the stop button to finish.
- The video will be saved in Photo Booth’s library (you can drag it to Desktop or Finder).
- Review the Video:
- Play the file to check audio and video quality.
